Lovely As A Tree Thank You Card

Stamp set: Lovely As A Tree and a retired set for the sentiment. 

I sponged the back ground with Soft Sky and Lemon Lime Twist. The tree and sentiment are stamped with Soft Suede ink. 

The sentiment is punched out with the Duet Banner punch. 

Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Soft Sky, Lemon Lime Twist, Soft Suede and Whisper White. 

I wrapped the Linen Thread around twice and tied it into a bow.

I also used the new Winter Wonders embossing folder from the Holiday catalog as well, don't you just love the large snowflake for the background for the coffee cup! Cardstock colors are Whisper White, Really Red, Crumb Cake and Garden Green with some Whisper White bakers twine on the little tag.

A Birthday and an Anniversary Card....

I used the Seasonal Layers Framelits and Colorful Seasons matching stamp set to make the cards above.  I also used the stitched layers framelits (circles), small heart punch, classic label punch and a retired punch . I used cardstock in crumb cake and whisper white, crushed curry for the hearts. The DSP is Color Theory  and Wood Textures 6 x 6 stacks.

August ICS Blog Hop Knotty Ways Showcasing Christmas Ideas!!

 Yep it's the 1st Wednesday of the month and you know what that means right? Inspire, Create, and Share Blog Hop! Our theme this month is Knotty Ways showcasing Christmas ideas. There is a great special going on this month to get all of us in the mood to start early on our Christmas projects so we thought we'd provide you with some inspiration using ribbon for Christmas projects!

I used the Carols of Christmas stamp set with the matching Card Front Builder thinlits on my card. The snowflake and tree is with the Dazzling Diamonds glimmer paper and the cute little deer is Crumb Cake cardstock and the rest of the cardstock colors are Pacific Point, Whisper White and Lemon Lime Twist as well as Lemon Lime Twist Finely Woven ribbon.

Stampin' Up! Dry Erase Board

I thought this was a cute, fun and easy project! All you need is a frame, paper and of course  dry erase marker. I picked up this 8 x 10 frame for $3. I used a piece of DSP from the lovely Delightful Daisy DSP. The glass works just like a dry erase board, so it wipes off with ease. I think this is a cute idea to put different sayings or quotes or to put items you need on a list in a cute unique way.

ICS Blog Hop Introducing the 2017-2019 In Colors

I used the Lovely Words Thinlits on my card. The 2017-2019 In-Colors on the card are Tranquil Tide and Lemon Lime Twist. I also used for the card base and the Hugs thinlit, one of the 2016-2018 In-Colors Dapper Denim. The DSP is called Eastern Palace and the ribbon is retired.

I turned 48 this week :( here are a couple of cards I got that brightened my day! The first one is from my friend Deb Naylor and I think it is from the awesome Stampin' Up!
